The Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture (CCVT) is a non-profit organization that aids survivors and their families to overcome the lasting effects of torture, war, genocide, and crimes against humanity. CCVT offers a range of programs including mental health and settlement services, children and youth programs, and language and skills training programs. CCVT gives hope after the horror.

This year marks our 42nd anniversary and we will be honouring the occasion with a fundraising gala on Friday, November 15, 2019, at the Old Mill Inn in Toronto.

This year’s gala program features the following superstar line-up:

Keynote: Lindsay (Swooping Hawk) Kretschmer, Executive Director of Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council

Auctioneer: Olivia Chow

Entertainment: Countermeasure A Capella, harpist Emily Belvedere, and DJ Claudio Saldivia
