First Light Issues
First Light, which is published semi-annually, is intended to inform the interested reader about torture, its effects and what we can do in aiding survivors to overcome their experience of torture and war. The CCVT views itself as part of a larger global community and is committed to the struggle for human rights, justice and the end of the practice of torture, war, genocide, and crimes against humanity.

CCVT Books
Historias de Resiliencia.
Historias de Resiliencia is a book written by CCVT clients and counselor Ana Ulloa. This book brings together voices that, despite their scars, dared to speak their own stories. These are stories born of pain, hope, and reconstruction. They were written by people who, through their experience of refuge, sought to put into words what sometimes weighs too heavily. May these pages serve as a mirror for those who have experienced exile, and as an embrace: may they find here the comfort of knowing they are accompanied.
